SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
Plato R-V School District Public Notice of Filing
The Plato R-V School District will accept declarations of candidacy from persons interested in running for a position on the school board in the April 5, 2022, election. Candidates must meet the qualifications of office. Persons interested may file at the superintendent’s office located at 10645 Plato Dr., Plato, MO 65552.
Filing will begin at 8:00 a.m. December 07, 2021, and will continue during the district’s regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days the school district’s offices are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays when the school district’s offices are closed: Beginning on December 23, 2021, through December 24, 2021. Filing will end at 5 p.m. December 28, 2021.
There are two positions available with three-year terms and one position available for a two-year term.
