Plato first graders had fun at Rutledge-Wilson Farm in Springfield yesterday. 





1st graders visited Rutledge-Wilson Farm today in Springfield. We learned about life on a farm and even got a chance to get up close to some of the animals. Students went on a hayride and got to pick a little pumpkin to take home!

Plato loves our military (and its dogs). 
This week Plato students learned about the U.S. Military's use of Mine Detection Dogs. Mine detection dogs have been used in the military since World War 2. Our students had a great time meeting the dogs. Find out more about the history of mine detections dogs here:

Art club students practiced their paper folding and drawing skills and made these amazing accordion books!

The Texas County Prosecuting Attorney, Mr. Parke Stevens, visited Mrs. Dahms and Mrs. Hazelwood's 4th-grade students to talk about the importance of the Constitution of the United States. The students were prepared with some great questions about the constitution and how court rooms work.
