The High-Demand Occupations List, available through the Missouri Economic Research and Information Center (MERIC), identifies occupations that are in high demand across the state of Missouri. The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) encourages school districts to share this information to increase awareness of workforce needs and career opportunities.

The high school Child Development class came to the kindergarten classes to do a craft/learning project. We have been studying our PLTW unit, The Human Body. The students wrote about some of the facts they had learned about our skeleton.
Elementary students wore orange in support of Unity Day! Unity day is a nationally recognized day to show unity for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.

Miss Amy’s kindergarten class has been blending letter sounds together to read words and the make those words into sentences. They took home their first story to read tonight.
