Eagles win another at home taking down county rival Licking Wildcats 8-2 improving to 16-5 on the season. The JV Eagles also won 6-0. #platorv

Miss Amy’s kindergarten class uses teamwork/peer tutoring to write their numbers to 100. This was a fun way to practice a grade level requirement. #platorv

Our students showed what kindness looks like in action! As part of the Month of the Military Child, they participated in a challenge that reflects the service, strength, and support of military families. We’re proud of the compassion and thoughtfulness they demonstrated. 💜

Join us on Wednesday, April 22, as our district celebrates Purple Up Day in honor of Month of the Military Child. Wear purple to show your support for our military-connected students and recognize the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of their families. Let’s fill our schools with purple and appreciation! 💜

FFA had a great time at the Missouri State Convention! #platorv

The Plato High School Track team competed in the Osage Invite on 4/13 HIGHLIGHTS: Will Chatman placed 2nd in the 1600m & 4th in the 800m! The Track team competed in the Zizzer invitational on 4/16. HIGHLIGHTS: The girls 4x800 team took 5th place with a new PR of 11:19 ranking them 3rd in their district! Bella Yourchisin placed 7th in the 800m with a new PR of 2:24. She also achieved a new personal best in her 1600m at 6:05 for this season!! Dean Kirk achieved a new PR in pole vault clearing 10’0”! Kaydence Murray achieved a new PR in the 400m at 1:14. The boys 4x800m relay team also achieved a new PR of 9:39 ranking them 3rd in their district! Levi Crewse achieved a new PR of 10.87m in triple jump! The Plato Horse Evaluation Team is headed off to compete at the State FFA competition in Columbia MO. Way to go Eagles! #platorv

Plato FBLA attended the Missouri State Leadership Conference this week. Highlights included competitions, workshops, a trip to Wonders of Wildlife, some frozen yogurt, and lots more fun. We would like to extend a special congratulations to Vanessa Hurley on placing 6th in the state for Real Estate. Great job, all members and competitors!

Last week at the Board of Education meeting, we swore in incumbents Andy Cook and Paula Cantrell, and officially welcomed our newest board member, Laura Steinbrink.

The Eagles dropped a pair of games at the Willow Springs tournament. They lost to Mt. Grove 6-5 and Norwood 5-1. #platorv

Eagles traveled to Fordland and came away winners 13-2... Improving their record to 13-3 on the season. JV Eagles lost 2-1. #platorv
