Plato R-V Schools

The plato track team competed in the class 2 sectional 3 championship on 5/16. Highlights: Dean Kirk placed 4th in pole vault and is headed to the state championship!!!!!🎉🦅 CONGRATULATIONS DEAN!!! We are so proud of all our eagles!! They all worked so hard today! The ladies 4x800 team placed 5th. Bella Yourchisin placed 5th in the 1600m & 6th in the 800. The 4x400 team placed 7th. Kaylynn Bilderback placed 7th in the 3200m. Levi Crewse placed 7th in the triple jump. Noah fletcher placed 8th in discus. Check out all of our results below! Join us in celebrating and honoring two valuable members of the Plato R-V family on their retirement! 🎉 Congratulations to Myra Dahms, Elementary Teacher, and Ralph McComas, Transportation Coordinator and Bus Driver, on their retirement from the Plato R-V School District. Mrs. Dahms has made a lasting impact on numerous students through her dedication, compassion, and commitment to education. Mr. McComas has safely transported generations of students to and from school, to ball games and other school activities. He has also faithfully served our district as transportation coordinator, maintaining a safe and dependable fleet of buses, earning a one hundred percent Missouri State Highway Patrol school bus inspection rating the past three years. Thank you Mrs. Dahms and Mr. McComas for the years of hard work, support, and the love you have given to our students, staff, and community. Eagles win 5th straight district title, beating Bakersfield 9-2. The Eagles set the school record in wins at 24-7!

Kindergarten is "Wild About Reading"!
This is the time of the year when Miss Amy's kindergarten class can read stories to their friends! The students did an excellent job of reading, and their friends were attentive listeners and very supportive of each other. This was a fun way to utilize our big books and a different way to keep reading during the last week of school. Way to go, kindergarten readers!
