Plato had a successful PD day today! We started with PLC, our year 1 and year 2 teachers attended their Beginning Teacher training, our Regional Professional Development Center presented on PBIS best practices, and we ended our day with Bryan Rush training us on Connection Keys! What an exciting start to the year! Our 3rd through 5th graders dove headfirst into Book Club, and the energy was absolutely fantastic. Students immersed themselves in stories, challenged each other with games, and then unleashed their creativity by writing their own tales. There's something magical about watching young readers become young authors, and today we saw that magic in action. Let's go, Eagles! #platorv

Mrs. Collier’s 3rd grade class has been busy getting to know one another! 😊 Students worked together using index cards to build a tower. The catch? Before adding a card to their tower, they had to write something they had in common with their classmates on it. It was a fun way to build teamwork while discovering just how much they have in common! #platorv
