Plato's FCCLA chapter had 4 students compete in districts today in Mountain Grove! Blake Atterberry will represent Plato at State FCCLA with a 1st place win with his project: Crystal Clear Sustainability Challenge. Kierley Good, Cy Helton and Maddy Lathrom received Silver with their project: Hometown Harvest Community Outreach. Congratulations to our FCCLA students and their advisor, Mrs. Breedlove! #platorv

The kindergarten was so fortunate again this Friday. Donna McNiel came to school with gingerbread houses and everything needed to decorate them. She brought cupcakes to decorate and then we made a craft. Plato is an amazing place to live. #platorv

Friday was a fun day for the kindergarten students. We boarded the bus and took a trip to Ms. Paula Cantrell’s house. Mrs. Claus and some elves helped students decorate cookies to eat with our hot chocolate, read us stories, and helped us make an ornament with our picture in it. Then, Santa Claus arrived and visited with each one of the students and gave them a pencil and a candy cane. We are so fortunate to live in a community that knows it takes a village to make children successful. The children had an amazing time! #platorv

A Night at the North Pole turned out perfectly, and the families had such a good time. Thank you to Jordan Woodward for the Christmas tree and the reindeer, they were a huge hit! Thank you to the Plato Students for helping decorate, and to Mrs. Breedlove’s class for making the delicious cookies and frosting for the kids to decorate. #platorv
