Our very own Plato Elementary and Plato Middle School have received recognition from PLTW as a 2024-25 Distinguished School, which recognizes schools across the U.S. for their efforts to provide broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW Launch & Gateway programs. Mr. Brian Collision invited the kindergarten classes to drop by the gym when they were out on their walk. He gave the students a tour, talked about exercise and let the students tumble and jump. THE GYM is a great place to visit with extremely friendly and knowledgeable people. Thank you for a fun afternoon!

Eagles' Youth Appreciation Night ended up with both teams winning. Plato Eagles beat Licking 7-6 in 8 innings a walk off single by Leanne Wolfe scored Taylor Utley. The Eagles improve to 19-8. The JV Eagles won 6-4. JV Eagles are 16-0. Way to go Eagles!

This morning, Plato 5th Graders toured their future middle school classrooms, met their future middle school teachers and discussed expectations for academics, behavior, attendance and athletics. As an extra bonus, they were able to participate in Mrs. Fletcher's "Fun Fact Friday" announcement, and won smarties for answering the fact question!
