The Polar Express event, hosted by PAT & Daycare, was a hit! Families had a blast experiencing a small-town Polar Express. There were many laughs and smiles throughout the event.

Plato High School's 7th hour building trades class built these awesome wooden trees. They're for sale at $75 apiece and the proceeds will go right back into the class.

Monday starts Spirit week! Wear your best tropical gear on Monday.
Mrs. Hazelwood's 4th grade class conducted an experiment focused on how weathering and erosion impact earth's landforms. Students formed predictions on how they believed various rocks would react when soaked in vinegar, conducted the experiment, and recorded their observations.

The HS Boy's basketball team will be competing in the Cabool Holliday Tournament. Their first game will be against Licking on Thursday, December 26th at 4:30pm. #platorv

This morning, Good Dads and Parents As Teachers had their first group connection. The morning began with dads having breakfast with their child, followed by fun games with cookies. Who can resist a good cookie? The event was filled with laughter and good bonding time. Keep an eye out for the next Good Father's event!

Plato students obtained their water quality monitoring certificate through the DNR Missouri Stream Team. Students were trained to collect data on macro invertebrates as well as the physical and chemical properties of water.
