The Plato Cross Country Team competed at the Joe Bill Dixon Zizzer Invitational in West Plains. The Middle School Boys took 1st Place. The Middle School Girls took 2nd place. The runners received 10 individual awards yesterday as follows:

Biomedical students learned how your body responds when you tell a lie this week. Students played 2 truths and a lie while hooked up to a lie detector. They monitored respiration and heart rates on a graph to spot each other's lie.

The High School baseball team will be participating in the Frisco League baseball tournament this week. Plato will play Dixon today at 4:30pm. All games will be held at Deer Lick park in Licking, MO

The SWCCCA Richard Clark Cross Country Meet was held in Bolivar on Saturday. Class 1-5 high schools participated.
Jayana Draper finished 19th in Class 2. Overall, it was a huge race with 215 total girls competing.
Jesse James and Thad Thompson set personal records today. Also in class 2, Jesse finished 27th with a time of 25:04, and Thad 28th at 25:05. The boys had 339 total runners competing.
