What a great way to experiment with prisms, mirrors, and magnifying glasses! Students were successful at transferring the sun's energy and catching a piece of cardboard on fire. See video on our Facebook or Instagram pages. โถ๏ธ
โ๏ธChemistry students learned how energy is transferred from the sun to Earthย via electromagnetic waves, or radiation, and that most of the energy that passes through the upper atmosphere and reaches Earth's surface is in two forms, visible and infrared light.
