The Partners in Education (PIE) visited the District today. In honor of Read Across America Day, William Test, the father of Miss Amy's recent A+ tutor graduate, Alexis Test, read to the kindergarteners. The students loved listening to him read the tongue twisters in "Fox in Socks!"

Plato hosted Wayensville High School's League of Legends Team for the Eagles' first in-person match. Plato defeated Waynesville 2-1 in 3 very close matches. #platorv

Students in Miss Couch's class worked on writing and formatting an MLA style 5-paragraph essay. Today in class, Miss Couch's students collaborated with each other in partners to point out different types of errors in the students' essays. #platorv




Second through Fifth grade students enjoyed celebrating the 100th Day of school. They completed a fun activity in each of the 2nd-5th grade teachersโ classrooms. In Mrs. Batesโ classroom they completed an art activity using the number 100. #platorv

Miss Amyโs kindergarten class brought bears to school to celebrate
Theodore Roosevelt. One of their activities was to write an adventure about themselves and their bears. These are amazing stories, and the students
worked hard writing where they went, what they did, and how the adventure ended.

We were so excited to host students from Gasconade R4 School District today! They toured the campus and classrooms as well as learned about all the programs, sports, and clubs. #platorv

A wonderful group of students from Kindergarten through 5th grade stayed after school recently to address 232 envelopes and do directed drawings for our Kindness Konnection cards. These students worked so diligently on the March addresses that they then moved on to the April envelopes! We are fortunate to have so many kind students with such beautiful handwriting. #platorv










For the 95th day of school, 6th grade band performed the 95 measures of music for our wonderful elementary students. These fabulous band students gave a phenomenal performance! #platorv
