Mrs. Bates’ class had an animal shelter themed day with their stuffed animals. Students read a realistic fiction story about a puppy who goes to the shelter and answered comprehension questions. Students also created their own animal shelters using their knowledge of perimeter and area. #platorv
Mrs. Cotrel's 6th grade science class made neuron models this week as they explored how their bodies carry out activities. 6th graders have been learning about outside stimuli, sensory neurons, motor neurons, neuron pathways, the central nervous system, and the peripheral nervous system.

Mrs. Cotrel’s 7th grade science students are building morse code machines. 7th grade is learning about electricity and circuits while they are also learning how advancements have contributed to population growth and better living conditions. #platorv

Sponsored by the Department of Defense Military Community and Family Policy, the Month of the Military Child is a time to applaud military families and their children for the daily sacrifices they make and the challenges they overcome.
