The 2022-2023 Yearbooks are ready for pickup! Come see the yearbook staff during the Back to School Meet and Greet Open House Night on Monday, August 21, between 4:30 and 7:00 p.m. in Mrs Baker's high school classroom, 807. A limited amount of extras for purchase were ordered, so you can still get one if you did not preorder. The extras will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

‼️Attention high school students! ‼️WCC begins Monday, August 21, 2023. Plato WILL be running a vo-tech bus on Monday and Tuesday. The bus will leave from the pavilion area outside the cafeteria at approximately 7:50 a.m., and return to Plato at approximately noon. No food service at Plato on the 21st and 22nd. WCC students are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from Plato School.

The Plato R-V School District was awarded two grants through the Department of Natural Resources. The first was awarded for our main campus playground, and the second was awarded for our daycare playground. National Playground completed both pours the week of June 26, 2023. Our main cmapus playground pour consumed 13,790 pounds of Missouri scrap tires, the equivalent of 690 passenger tires! The daycare playground pour consumed 12,012 pounds of Missouri scrap tires, the equivalent of 600 passenger tires! The surfaces now require less maintenance and, more importantly, are safer for our children!

Our new high school Head Basketball Coach, Shannon Crain, and Assistant Coach, Steve Hathaway, traveled to Branson with our summer high school basketball players for the Tri-Lakes Shootout this week.

The Plato Senior Class of 2024 will be hosting a bake sale at the Roby Farmer’s Market on July 15th. Our stand is open for dropping off bake goods, and all bake goods are for sale at the expense of DONATIONS. All profit will go to the Class of 2024 for graduation/senior expenses. We hope to see you there!
