Plato R-V School District takes every report regarding the safety of our students and staff very seriously. We thoroughly investigate every report to determine its validity. Any substantiated claim will be promptly communicated to Plato Families.
It is our responsibility as a caring community to ensure that rumors are not circulated and do not become slanderous to staff, students or our patrons.
I would like to thank our principals, staff and board members for their deep commitment to the safety of our students as well as the Texas County Sheriff's Department for their continuing support in providing a full-time Commissioned School Resource Officer.

Students in Mrs. Jones’ English I class were competing in fun game of trasketball while reviewing and identifying several types of figurative language. Mrs. Loughridge even got to compete with the students! #platorv
Students in Mrs. Hunter’s American Literature class participated in a fun cooperative learning activity called quiz, quiz, trade, while analyzing the characters and events found in Delia Owens' book and film WHERE THE CRAWDAD’S SING. #platorv
