The Plato Scholar Bowl team competed in their first tournament in Houston! They came in 20th place!

The CTA and Plato student body would like to thank Superintendent Brad Cooper for letting us "stick" him to the bleachers with duct tape at today's pep assembly. The students and the CTA raised over $400.00 with the "CTA Stick It Fundraiser" for the Community Teachers Association scholarship fund that is given to selected Plato seniors each year.

Various selections from beginner readers to adult novels and cookbooks. We look forward to seeing everyone!

The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived! It will be at our library from October 24th-November 3rd. Visit our school's library for all the fun and excitement! There are so many books to choose from for every kind of kid: adventure, sci-fi, best-selling, and even โlaugh-out-loudโ stories. We even have various high school and adult books as well. Purchases can be made at the fair or online. Can't make it to an ATM, that is okay due to our E-Wallet option! Families are welcome to come join us this Thursday, Oct. 27th during parent teacher conferences. We canโt wait to see you there!

Plato 8th graders got to tour the Waynesville Career Center and explore all of the different career programs that they will have the opportunity join in just a few short years!

CHEER CAMP! Middle School and High School Cheerleaders will lead a Cheer Camp for K- 6th grade students, from Tuesday, November 1st - Friday, November 4th, from right after school (3:30/2:30 F) until 5:00 p.m., with Mrs. Desiree Wolfe, Cheer Coach, in charge and present. Cheerleaders will work with students on Sideline Cheers, Tumbling, and a Dance performance that will take place on Saturday, November 5th, at Meet the Eagles. Fees: Individual Child: $30.00. Each child will receive: daily instruction in cheer, a Cheer Camp T-Shirt, and Hair Bow (girls) and Megaphone (boys).
Forms have been sent home with students.
