On Friday, the final day of the official Teacher Appreciation Week, our teachers and staff were treated to a BBQ luncheon! When they entered the cafeteria, they chose a number. Then each number group played rock-paper-scissors to win camping themed raffle items. Thank you, teachers and staff, for all you do to make our district GREAT! We appreciate you everyday! #platorv
Mrs. Bates’ class learned that trees and plants help filter stormwater run-off and prevent erosion. Students created their own terrariums and now will look forward to monitoring the water quality as their plants grow. #platorv

Entrepreneurship students finished their final project recently. They had to create a T-shirt on their own, as well as complete the design and production process to its entirety. Look at those creative designs! #platorv
Math MAP Day 2:
5th graders earned tickets again today for displaying positive testing behaviors. They will use their tickets to enter raffles to win awesome prizes.

5th graders thought hard about which prize they wanted to try to win at lunch today. They earned tickets by taking their time, using scrap paper, using online tools, and doing their best on Math session 1 of the MAP test. #platorv
