The Plato Summer Food Program begins Monday! Plato schools will be providing free breakfast and lunch items for pickup at the pavilion. Pickups will be Mondays and Thursdays. If you have questions, you may call Mrs. Desiree Wolfe 417-458-3333 ext. 225.

We've had a great summer school! In music, students learned about the Landfill Harmonic Orchestra, a band with instruments made entirely out of trash! They then used their orchestra knowledge to make their own trash instruments!

Great News! The Missouri SuN Bucks program applications are now OPEN!

Do I need to apply?
A child may be automatically eligible for Missouri SuN Bucks and will not need to apply for the program if:
The household already participates in SNAP or Temporary Assistance, or
The child is age 7 through 17 and is in foster care, homeless, a migrant, or
The child attends a school that offers the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program, and the household income meets the requirements for free or reduced-price school meals.
Families with children who are automatically eligible will receive an EBT card in the mail, or the money will be added to their existing EBT card.

If your child does not meet one of the categories mentioned above, visit mydss.mo.gov/SuNBucks to check the eligibility navigator tool to see if you should apply for the program. Certain household requirements must be met to qualify.

Yesterday Middle School students participated in MS Field Day!!
Students were divided evenly, and randomly into 5 teams, with one of the five middle school teachers are their leader.
Each team competed in an egg and spoon race, water balloon toss, softball throws, and tug of war!
In the end Mr. Larsen's and Mrs. McEntyre's teams tied!
They competed in a tie breaking game of Dodge ball… which declared the MS Field Day Winning team….
