Tomorrow, Friday, April 1st, we kick off April's Month of the MIlitary Child at Plato School District. This is our way of celebrating our very own military students and their families.
Mrs. Metzler has purchased 6 copies of the children's book "I'm a Dandelion" by Brooke Mahaffey (Mrs. Metzler's friend), which was written in collaboration with the military child coalition. Those copies will be floating around for teachers and students to utilize throughout the month of April.
Additionally, all students who ordered a "Purple Up" bracelet from FBLA will receive theirs Friday, April 8, 2022. Extras are available for purchase in the Elementary and High/Middle School Offices. The wristbands are $2.00 each and come in youth and adult sizes.
To fully implement our "Purple Up" kick off for April, the PHS FBLA students are asking everyone in the district to wear purple tomorrow, Friday, April 1, 2022 and also on โPurple Upโ day, Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Thank you for your continued support & Happy Month of the Military Child!
