Back by popular demand is our spring Bogo Scholastic Book Fair! It will be held at the Plato RV School April 17th - April 25th. Visit our school's library for all the fun and excitement! There are so many books to choose from for every kind of reader: adventure, sci-fi, best-selling, and even “laugh-out-loud” stories. We even have various high school and adult books to choose from. Books may be purchased at the fair or online. Can't make it to an ATM, that is okay due to our E-Wallet option! Visit the link posted below to set up your student's account. Last week, Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Loughridge attended the April Military Child meeting at the capitol where they received the official Purple Star School Award from last year. The Missouri Purple Star school designation is awarded to military-friendly local education agencies (LEAs) that have demonstrated a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Schools that earn the designation receive a special Purple Star logo to display onsite and on their website. DESE honored the first cohort of schools, which included Plato, earning this designation in fall 2022. The designation is valid for three years, which means schools that received it in 2022 could reapply by March 31, 2025. #platorv
