๐ Meet our new Assistant High School and Assistant Junior High Volleyball Coach, Maggie Cline! Hereโs what Coach Cline has to say about herself:
Hello everyone! My name is Maggie Cline, soon to be Maggie Rodts. I am currently in college to become an elementary teacher, and am a momma to a beautiful baby girl named Alice. I have played volleyball as long as I can remember. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to play college volleyball. It fills me with much joy to be able to be coaching for my second consecutive season within high school volleyball.
๐ In my first year of coaching, I had the amazing opportunity to coach underneath my high school coach, Ashley Martin, a sports hall of famer. I was her assistant coach in Mountain Grove and learned so many training techniques and how to teach grit to our players. She helped me get my foot in the door for coaching, and I will forever be grateful for the relationship we have.
๐ I also got an amazing opportunity to coach at Success for middle school volleyball. I was the assistant coach under Craig Pounds. Not only did I learn how to teach volleyball skills to a different grade level, but I learned life lessons as well. I look forward to starting my second year of coaching! I think if you work hard and have God by your side you can accomplish anything! #platorv

โถ๏ธ Cross Country Update โฌ
๏ธ
Message from Coach Bilderback:
The cross country season is rapidly approaching, and we have some administrative tasks to complete. The school needs to submit a prospective roster of students to MSHSA. If your child is in either 6th or 7th grade or has never run cross country before, I need you to contact me with the students full name, date of birth and graduation year.
Soon we will begin open runs, but before our first competition on September 3rd at Bolivar, all athletes need a minimum of 14 practices. To participate in an official practice, and have it count, the student must have a current sports physical.
MSHSAA physicals are good for 2 years. See this link for the current MSHSAA physical form:
